Larry O’Connell, is Senior Economist at the National Economic and Social Council.
He is currently working on various aspects of Irish housing policy, including social housing, and the question how Ireland can develop a more sustainable system of housing provision and support capable of meeting the needs of every household. In 2013 he worked on Ireland’s Five Part Crisis, Five Years On, in particular in the areas of banking and finance, enterprise policy and greener economy.
He holds an degree in Agricultural Economics, an M.B.S and a PhD in industrial economics from University College Dublin.
